Team Reika

Description

Reika is 11 years old and has Downs Syndrome and developmental delays. Reika had many challenges at birth, needing a heart operation within her first six months.

Reika attends special school and also spends part of a week at a typical school. She continues to have behavioural and speech issues.

During 2011 Reika made huge leaps forward with weekly private therapy sessions. This was only made possible with the funds raised.

We would love to raise $5000 this year for therapy to provide Reika with the best possible chance of a supported, independent future.
