Respite/Holiday Unit

In September 2007 we opened our brand new purpose built, accessible unit to our members. Acknowledging that there was a need for cheap accessible accommodation we worked with architects and builders to create a first class accessible unit just a few minutes walk from Caloundra's gorgeous Kings Beach.

The unit is a self contained, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom air conditioned unit. All linen is supplied and the unit is professionally cleaned after each booking.

Unit Facilities

3 Bedrooms - Master (Queen Bed), Twin (2x King Single, can be joined to make king bed) and Single (single bed)
2 Bathrooms - Main (handicapped facilities including shower chair) and Ensuite (with spa bath and shower)

NB. All bed sheets and bath towels are included in the accommodation rate.

Kitchen - fully equipped including dishwasher and microwave
Laundry Cupboards - with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board
Lounge - 2 and 3 seater leather couches, flat screen TV, and DVD/CD player
Dinning area - wooden table with 6 chairs
Balcony - outdoor table with 6 chairs and 2 sun lounges

One secured car park space under complex
Disabled entry to unit via elevator in car park
Pool & Jacuzzi
Outdoor disabled toilet next to pool area
BBQ area

Families being assisted by The Developing Foundation Inc. have first priority in the use of our accessible holiday unit at a special discounted price.

During selected school holidays the unit can be booked for a maximum of one week per year per family. Longer periods may be booked outside of school holiday periods.
